Our 5th grade is starting STOP MOTION videos and the week before, we had tried this with the ipads and it just didn't go as well as I hoped. So we backtracked into PowerPoint and retaught the lesson of one slide per shot. And they got it.
We worked with the clip art already in PowerPoint and we colored, ungrouped, etc. I would share with 1 or 2 students -- and then encouraged them to go share with others. As always, it is great to see them eager to assist in learning.
Below is an example of one of the stop motion videos. I am unsure WHY it is blinking a bit -- I exported the PP as jpegs and then just imported to iMovie -- so, if you can help me understand what I might have done wrong...THANK YOU.
Also included below is the original PowerPoint slide each student began with. And yes, it is set up as a green screen -- because that is what we are moving onto next.
