We began the lesson by learning to change the foreground and background colors.
They then drew out a VECTOR CIRCLE (learning to hold down the shift to make a perfect circle.)
In Paint Shop Pro - you get different ways to change a vector by holding down the shift or alt key while moving the corners....
But you also can add NODES to the image and create even more opportunities to change the image besides just the corners.
To the left is one of their creations!
Today we worked with spelling our names out with LETTERS.
The tool we learned today was the STICKER tool.
I first had the students free explore the stickers -- and then we looked through them alphabetically.
Once they learned how to search for "letters".....they spelled out their names first with letters and then put a picture ABOVE each letter with an object that began with that letter.
It was fun when the teacher walked in. She questioned one student about the letter choice he had chosen. She said "that is an E -- for elephant and your name has an "A" in it".
He quickly responded "it is an Asian elephant".
I had to smile!
